How we came about
Cranleigh Youth Basketball Club has been around in the past but for some inexplicable reasons fizzled out. In the summer of 2008 a young player announced that he wanted to play basketball, and in the absence of a local club he commissioned his father to start one. CYBC is a fully inclusive club for children attending secondary school academic years 7-11.
The focus is on developing and including everyone, attending secondary school year 7-11. It's not about selections and winning championships, but we do want to develop, get better and do our best to win every game, with the provision that everyone has a go.
